What began in the backroom of a lab has grown into a community that has touched over 17 million lives in just 11 years. Today, Istech Robotics Society is a student-led community where young people learn, build, lead, and grow together through FIRST and STEAM.

We design robots, of course, but that is only part of who we are. IRS is a place where students discover what they are capable of, turn ideas into action, and find a community that believes in them. From FLL Explore to FLL Challenge to FRC, we bring different FIRST programs under one roof so students can keep learning, keep growing, and keep passing that experience on to the next generation.

Over the years, our team has grown into a large and lasting community supported by students, alumni, and mentors. We now reach teams and students across many cities, and our culture is built on continuity: students learn, become leaders, and later return to guide others.

At IRS, we are more than a team that builds robots for competition. We are a community that builds opportunities, confidence, and belonging, and we keep that flame alive by making sure every student who joins us has a place to learn, contribute, and rise.
